An alert was issued in Dutchess County as detectives investigate a complaint of two stolen STIHL BR800X backpack leaf blowers from a Chestnut Ridge Road residence in the town of Union Vale. The leaf blowers were last seen in the truck bed on the owner’s property on Thursday, April 14. They have an estimated combined value of approximately $1,100. 22-Year-Old Killed In Crash Between Pickup Truck, Motorcycle A 22-year-old was killed in a crash between a pickup truck and motorcycle in the area. It happened in Dutchess County at about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 in the town of Union Vale. Troopers were dispatched to Chestnut Ridge Road by Dutchess County 911 for a personal injury collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
