Man, Woman Burned In Hudson Valley House Fire Airlifted To Hospital A man and a woman were seriously burned during a raging fire at their Hudson Valley home. The blaze broke out in Orange County around 4:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, on Overlook Drive in Campbell Hall. According to Chief Mark Ballard of the Campbell Hall Fire Department, the two residents were found on the front porch when firefighters arrived on the scene. Both had serious burns and were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, the chief said. Area Home Damaged In Three-Alarm Fire A three-alarm fire damaged an Orange County home but was quickly extinguished with help from other volunteer agencies. The Goshen Fire Department received the call around 8:54 p.m. Wednesday at 12 West St., in the village for smoke alarms going off in the residence, the Goshen Fire Department said. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke showing from the second floor. Driver In Two-Car Crash With Serious Injury Charged With DWI, Vehicular Assault The 51-year-old driver in a two-car crash that left one person trapped and seriously injured has been charged with driving under the influence. Christopher Smith of Campbell Hall was arrested on Saturday following the crash at the intersection of Little Britain Road and Forrester Road, said New Windsor Police Lt. Michael Farbent. Responding officers found a two-car crash with heavy damage to both vehicles.
