ID Released For Baldwin Place Man Killed In Saw Mill Parkway Crash The driver who died in a crash on the Saw Mill River Parkway that closed the northbound lanes in Bedford Hills for hours has been identified. Robert Leff, 51, of the Baldwin Place section of Somers, died around 11:25 a.m. Thursday after crashing into a tree, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. Leff was traveling northbound in the vicinity of Green Lane when his Toyota Rav 4 left the roadway and struck a tree.
