Area Resident Sentenced For Stabbing Another Woman On Roadway A Hudson Valley resident was sentenced to 10 years in state prison for stabbing another woman on a city street. Orange County resident Ariana Sanchez, age 23, of Newburgh, was sentenced on Tuesday, Feb. 1 to prison time as well as five years post-release supervision, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. The stabbing took place in June 2021 on Dubois Street in the City of Newburgh, the DA's Office said. Sanchez had pleaded guilty to assault in December. 'Love Triangle' Stabbing Leads To Attempted Murder Charge For Area Woman A Hudson Valley woman has been indicted on charges including attempted murder in a connection with the alleged stabbing of a woman during what might have been a 'love triangle' disagreement. Ariana Sanchez, age 22, of Newburgh, was charged on Monday, July 19, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. The indictment alleges that on Saturday, June 19, Sanchez repeatedly stabbed another woman multiple times, including in the chest, back, and leg in the area of Lake Street in the City of Newburgh.
