Woman Retrieving Dog Struck, Killed On Highway In Region A woman was struck and killed on a highway in the region while trying to retrieve her dog, authorities said. The incident happened at around 10:15 p.m. Sunday, March 26, on I-787 in Albany, according to New York State Police. Troopers said the woman, identified as Noella Boucher, age 82, of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada, was in the southbound lanes near exit 1 after grabbing her dog when she was struck by a car. Barn Fire Breaks Out In Carmel Without any water supply, more than a dozen fire departments worked hauling water for hours to put out a blazing fire at a Carmel barn. The fire started around 3:35 a.m. at the barn on Croton Falls Road located near the border with Croton Falls and with North Salem and Somers, said Croton Falls Fire Chief Daniel Dreyer. When firefighters arrived on scene they found a huge fire, sending flames into the air.
