Attorneys for Home Depot, which is located locally along Route 312, claim the business' sewer rate should be reduced. The company filed suit against the town two years ago to strengthen it's calls for a reduced rate, according to the Examiner.

Though Home Depot's attorney claimed in a hearing on Thursday, March 24, that the town should try to keep it's local businesses financially secure by doing all it can to keep such services low, experts said the rates charged by Independent Sewer Works are appropriate, according to the Examiner.

The Town Board could make a decision on the matter as soon as May, according to the Examiner.
