Kent Men Accused Of Punching, Kicking Fellow Resident

KENT, N.Y. -- Two Kent men were charged with beating and kicking another man during an argument, sending the victim to the hospital, according to the Kent Police Department.

Conor Joyce, 37, and Darren Mills, 47, were accused of beating and kicking the man in the head and body on Wednesday, Oct. 26, causing lacerations to his head and face, said Kent Police Officer Corey Ashe. 

Joyce and Mills fled the scene, but were captured the following day and charged with third-degree assault, police said.

The victim was taken to Putnam Hospital Center by ambulance for treatment, police added.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 14.
