Woman Charged With Stealing Merchandise At Southeast Home Depot

SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- A Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy has arrested a 38-year-old Bronx resident on a larceny charge.

A deputy responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody at the Home Depot at 80 Independent Way in the Town of Southeast on Wednesday, March 9, at 11:05 a.m., police report.

The asset protection manager had observed a woman, identified as Suzanna M. Love, conceal merchandise and then leave the store without paying for it, according to officials.

The deputy arrested Love and charged her with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, police report.

The defendant was processed by Town of Kent Justice Kevin Douchkoff and committed to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $200 cash bail or $500 bond, pending a future appearance in the Town of Southeast Justice Court to answer the charge, officials report.
