Woman, 59, Faces Felony Charge After Dispute Turns Violent In Carmel

CARMEL, N.Y. -- Carmel police recently arrested a woman at Arms Acres after she got into a dispute with another person, according to Carmel police.

Theresa Dickerson, 59, of the Bronx, was charged with assault after hitting another person at the complex with a metal cane, police said. 

Arms Acres is an inpatient/outpatient treatment center for drug and alcohol addictions. 

She was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
