PUTNAM, N.Y. -- The New York State police in Brewster are asking for the public's help in locating a local man wanted for strangulation and endangering two children after he failed to show up in court, said state police.
Jorge Rivera was arrested in January 2016 following a domestic violence dispute where he choked a woman in front of two young children, state police said.
Rivera is described as a white male, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last known to live in the Bronx.
A warrant was issued for Rivera after he failed to appear in the Town of Patterson Court.
