Missing Adult Alert For 18-Year-Old With Autism Is Canceled

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert that included Putnam related to the disappearance of an 18-year-old from Long Island has been canceled.

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert that includes Putnam has been issued Sunday evening relating to the disappearance of an 18-year-old from Long Island.

Josh Niewierowski, who who has autism and is non-verbal, was last seen at his residence on Griffin Place in Lynbrook at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt with a camp anchor patch on the left breast, beige cargo shorts, blue Nike sneakers and a black hat with "Maryland" written on it. 

The alert also includes Westchester, Rockland, Orange and all of New York City and Long Island.
