Emergency Responders Rush To Lake Mahopac After Report Of Structure Fire

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Emergency responders rushed to a home at the north end of Lake Mahopac on Monday morning just after 9 a.m. after receiving a report of a possible structure fire on Lillian Road.

Within minutes, two tanker/pumpers and a ladder truck were on the road responding. Asst. Chief Bill Nikisher, among the first on the scene, reported finding a hazy condition but no fire.

Interior crews cleared the premises with thermal imaging cameras and set up fans to clear the condition.
