The event features food, a raffle and a parade of dogs down Main St. in Cold Spring to raise awareness and support of autism service dogs trained by Guiding Eyes for the Blind. All well-behaved, leashed dogs are invited to attend.
Wrangler, a Guiding Eyes dog-in-training regularly featured on NBC's "TODAY" will be at the event.
Registration will be on at Saint Mary's Episcopal Church's lawn at the corner of Main St. and Rte. 9D.
Families with Heeling Autism dogs will speak about their personal experiences with the dogs and how they provide companionship and safety for children with autism.
