Cities, towns and villages from throughout the 40th Senate District selected a nominee for the ceremony.
“I created the Veterans Hall of Fame to recognize outstanding men and women who nobly and selflessly served the United States of America,” Ball said. “I have had the privilege of meeting and honoring so many wonderful veterans over the past three years and I am excited to introduce the 4th class of veterans – the largest class yet. These extraordinary veterans devoted their lives to a cause greater than one’s self, nobly dedicating themselves to preserving the safety and freedom of the American people through acts of courage, honor and integrity.”
This event is open to the public. Registration will begin at 5 p.m. The Mahopac Elementary School is at 100 Myrtle Ave., Mahopac.
Nominees for the 4th class of the Veteran’s Hall of Fame include Master Sgt. Chris D’Angelo, of Beekman; Seaman 1st Class Salvatore Inserra of Brewster; Sgt. Louis Gasparini, of Brewster; Pvt. 1st Class Philip Perugini of Buchanan; and Sen. Ball’s nominee Tommy Farrell.
