The Missing Person Alert for a 67-year-old Hudson Valley woman, issued Sunday evening, has been canceled.
Maryann Hookey has been found and is safe, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services reports.
A Missing Person Alert is in effect following the disappearance of a Hudson Valley woman.
The alert was issued after 67-year-old Maryann Hookey was last seen at the Newburgh Mall on Route 300 in Newburgh at 3 p.m. on Monday.
Maryann, who is 5-foot-4, 160 pounds, wears glasses and was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and multi-colored shoes and has gray hair and brown eyes, authorities said.
Anyone with information on her disappearance should call the Newburgh Town Police Department at (845) 564-1100 or 911.
The alert covers Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Rockland as well as Greene, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties.
