Anyone over the age of 14 operating a personal watercraft and motorboat operators born on or after May 1, 1996, are required to have the certificate obtained through the class.
The class is free, but participants 18 and over must mail their temporary receipt with a $10 check after course completion. Youth under 18 receive the certificate for free.
Participants must be at least 10 years of age.
The free course runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
