Kids Lift Weights, Spoon Race At Kent Library's Super Hero Training Camp

KENT, N.Y. -- The Kent Library hosted a Super Hero Training Camp for all the young superheroes in the area, in conjunction with the town's Independence Day celebration, on July 3.

Superheroes were encouraged to come in costume. Many of the costumes were created at the library the day before. Children tested their strength and agility with an obstacle course, weight lifting, sack race, ring toss, giant Jenga game, spoon race, and more.

Supervisor Maureen Fleming and Putnam County Legislator Toni Addonizio came to encourage the young super heroes.
