Dover Man Charged With Violating Order Of Protection

DOVER, N.Y. -- State Police charged a Dover man with violating an order of protection on Monday, according to officials.

Thomas C. Brown, Jr., 30, was allegedly trespassing on the victim's property on Dec. 29. He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt after it was learned he had been convicted once before in 2014, police said. 

Brown was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond, police said.
