The county owned farm, in Southeast, had rides ranging from a Ferris wheel to a gigantic slide, along with game booths.

Putnam County Executive Mary Ellen Odell, in an interview, gave an overview of the event, which came out of a task force convened to address what to do with the farm. She also discussed the event's purpose, which is to reintroduce Tilly Foster and to celebrate Independence Day. She also spoke favorably about turnout for the fair.
