BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The Brewster Theater Company will present Monty Python's Spamalot starting Thursday, Aug. 4 at Drew Methodist Church in Carmel.

Lovingly ripped off from the motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is the Broadway hit and parody of the Arthurian legend. It was nominated for 14 Tony Awards, winning three, including Best Musical for 2005.

Leading the quest is King Arthur (Robert Ansbro of Mahopac) with his trusty servant Patsy (Bob Dumont of Patterson); Paul Stein (Brewster) as Sir Lancelot the Homicidally Brave; Jim DiBlasi is Sir Robin (Riverdale); Philip Corso (Poughkeepsie) is Sir Galahad; Lou Simmons (Millerton) is Sir Bedevere; and featuring Robin O'Leary (New York City) as The Lady of the Lake.

Tickets for the show are $23 for adults and $20 for students and seniors.

Performances will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 6 as well as Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 13. All shows will begin at 8 p.m.

Special dinner shows will be held on Friday, Aug. 5 and Friday, Aug.12 with a catered meal at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for dinner and the show are $45. Click here to purchase tickets online
