Crash, Downed Wires Cause Route 124 Closure In Pound Ridge

A stretch of Route 124 in Pound Ridge was closed much of the day Friday afternoon following an early morning motor-vehicle crash, Pound Ridge Police Chief Dave Ryan said.

The closure was between Kitchawan Road and Old Stone Hill Road.

A pole was split during the crash, bringing down wires. The motorist was treated for minor injuries.
