Blaze Breaks Out At Shopping Plaza In Westchester: Developing Firefighters were seen battling a blaze at a shopping plaza in Westchester.  The fire broke out on Monday afternoon, Nov. 18 at the Vernon Place Shops in the area of 717 White Plains Rd. near the border of Eastchester and Scarsdale, according to reports.  Smoke was seen pouring out of the shopping center's roof.  A large police and firefighter presence is now at the shopping center.
