Police: Man Accused Of Threatening To 'Cut' Tree Worker With Ax In Wilton A man was arrested for allegedly threatening a tree trimmer with an ax while he was cutting branches from a tree in Fairfield County. Jonathan Damast, age 45, of Wilton, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 7, after Wilton Police responded to a home on Ridge Lane for a dispute, said Lieutenant Gregg Phillipson. According to Phillipson, officers responded to Ridge Lane, for a report of a man yelling at tree workers. Josiah Diaz-Cregan, a freshman at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, was arrested Monday after Hamden Police responded to a report of threatening on campus, said Hamden PD Capt. Police: Ridgefield Man Threatens Victim With Knife In Dispute Over Money At New Canaan Home A 33-year-old man who allegedly threatened another person with a knife during a dispute over money has landed behind bars. Rosbel Sanchez of Ridgefield was arrested early Monday and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening after police found he had threatened the victim over money, said New Canaan Police.
