Theft Of Israeli Flag: 15-Year-Old Nabbed After Incident At Town Hall In Hudson Valley
A boy was apprehended shortly after he allegedly stole an Israeli flag in broad daylight from in front of a town hall in the Hudson Valley on Thanksgiving Day. Officers in Rockland County responded to Clarkstown Town Hall at around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 for reports that the Israeli flag was stolen from the pole on which it was flying. A witness stated to police dispatchers that an unknown male wearing dark clothing was observed ripping the flag from its pole and was running toward Route 304. Separate Rounds Of Wet Weather Will Start On Black Friday
A stretch of sunny, dry days leading up to and including Thanksgiving Day will be followed by separate rounds of wet weather, starting on Black Friday, Nov. 25, according to the National Weather Service. After a one-day reprieve from precipitation on Saturday, Nov. 26, those back on the road and in airports traveling will have to contend with a second round of wet weather on Sunday, Nov. 27. A stretch of clear, dry weather will end just after Thanksgiving day as a complex, cross-country storm will bring periods of rain and strong winds to the region. A storm system that arrived overnight is sweeping through the region, but Thanksgiving Day won't be a complete washout.
