Ridgefield Public Schools Superintendent Susie Da Silva said in a message Friday night, Oct. 16 that about three dozen Ridgefield High School staff members and students have been asked to quarantine after being exposed to multiple sources of COVID. David Sharpe, 29, of Fairfield, who coached the team at Staples High School in Westport, was arrested Saturday on a court warrant charging him with public indecency and breach of peace, said Fairfield Police Lt. Daily School Threats Multiply In Hudson Valley, Nationwide Since Shooting In the weeks since he Feb. 14 mass shooting in Parkland, Fla., there have been more than 72 threats every day at schools nationwide, according to an Ohio educational group.That is more than seven times the normal daily average, which includes bomb threats and false fire alarms.
