19-Year-Old Wearing Wig, Makeup Robs Greenwich Tiffany Store At Gunpoint
An armed teenage man wearing a wig and makeup robbed a high-end jewelry store in Fairfield County of $175,000 in merchandise before being caught by police.
The robbery took place in Greenwich at Tiffany & Co. around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.
According to Greenwich Police, the man, identified as Edgardo Bautista-Gallardo, age 19, of San Fransico, California, entered the store at 140 Greenwich Ave. and requested to see jewelry from store associates.

Fairfield County Man, Age 28, Nabbed For $17K Rip-Off From Estate Sale, Police Say
A local man was charged with larceny for allegedly selling $17,000 in goods at a Fairfield County estate sale and did not turn the money over to the victim's estate, according to authorities.
Nick Hatch, age 28, of Wilton, was charged on Friday, Jan. 27, after turning himself in to Wilton Police, said Lt. Gregg Phillipson, of the Wilton Police.
According to Phillipson, Hatch entered into a contract to sell items from the victim's estate. The items were sold, however, Hatch allegedly failed to provide the money owed to the victim per their agreement.

Man Charged With Harassing 2 Victims, New Canaan PD Says
A 47-year-old man is facing charges in Fairfield County after two people reported that they received harassing phone calls and emails from him.
The New Canaan Police Department reported that officers received complaints from two separate victims about Jason Newport, of Indianapolis, Indiana, on Monday, Aug. 22, and Thursday, Sept. 1.
Police said both victims reported that they received harassing text messages, emails, and phone calls from Newport.
An investigation was conducted, and arrest warrants were issued for both incidents, according to the report.

Police arrested two men in connection with the theft of more than $20,000 in high-end handbags from a Fairfield County merchant.
Members of the Greenwich Police Organized Retail Criminal Activity Unit chased three suspects on foot down Greenwich Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 27, after they were observed steeling high-value handbags from a local merchant, said Lt. John Slusarz.
Two of the suspects were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit and struggle. The third suspect got away with over $20,000 of merchandise, Slusarz said.

Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Fairfield County mother of five Jennifer Farber Dulos, is clinging to life and being treated for carbon monoxide poisoning hours after an apparent suicide attempt, police say.
Dulos was found at his Farmington, Connecticut, mansion around noon, Tuesday, Jan. 28, after he failed to show up in court for an emergency bond hearing, said Farmington Police spokesman Lt. Tim McKenzie at a press conference.

A woman who was arrested after five dead dogs were found in her home has been arrested again following a domestic dispute.
Heidi Lueders, 31, of New Canaan, was arrested around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 after New Canaan police responded to a home on Marshall Ridge Road for a report of a domestic dispute between two occupants of the home, said New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro.
