Longtime New Canaan Firefighter Angelo Gesualdi Dies At 75 Angelo John Gesualdi a lifetime resident of New Canaan and longtime firefighter, died Saturday of a heart attack with his family by his side.  He was 75. Gesualdi was born on May 16, 1943, in Stamford to the late Vito and Vera Coco Gesualdi. He was a firefighter with the New Canaan Fire Department for 34 years and was ranked as a Captain of the department. During his retirement, Gesualdi loved to start his mornings with his firehouse family and greeting each day “uptown,” seeing friends and keeping up with the community. Michael A. Ruggiero Of Westchester Dies At 33 Michael A. Ruggiero, Jr., a lifelong resident of Yonkers died suddenly on Sunday, April 29, after a long battle with addiction. He was 33 years old. Michael is survived by his wife, Nicola "Nikki," his parents, Michael & Eileen (nee Mahedy); his loving siblings, Andrew and Andrea and his adoring grandmother, Peggy Mahedy.
