A Connecticut man faces drug charges after he was caught with cocaine during a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley, police said. On Friday, Feb. 10 around 10:15 p.m., police in Putnam County pulled over a 2012 Acura TL on Interstate 684 in Southeast for violations of traffic and vehicle laws. A 37-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. A deputy saw a vehicle that crossed over the yellow lines and was not maintaining its lane of traffic in Southeast at about 12:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, the Putnam County Sheriff's Department reported. Lane Of I-84 In Hudson Valley To Close For A Week
A lane of a busy highway in the region will close for most of the day over the span of a week. A lane of I-84 eastbound and westbound will close between Exit 52 (Taconic State Parkway) in the Dutchess County town of East Fishkill and Exit 68 (Interstate 684) in the Putnam County town of Southeast beginning on Monday, Oct. 31, and lasting until Friday, Nov. 3, New York Department of Transportation officials said. The lane will close between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day to allow for bridge maintenance, officials said.

A 27-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly repeatedly stabbing another man outside a Hudson Valley restaurant. Lane Closures Scheduled On I-84 Stretch In Region
State officials issued an alert to motorists about upcoming lane closures on I-84 in the Hudson Valley. The New York State Department of Transportation said the lane closures will take place on stretches of the highway in Dutchess, Putnam, and Orange counties from Monday, Aug. 22, through Friday, Aug. 26, to facilitate bridge maintenance activities.
