Transformer Fire Closes Part Of Busy Roadway In Hudson Valley: Developing A blaze has caused part of a busy Hudson Valley route to close in both directions. In Putnam County, Route 312 in the town of Southeast is closed to traffic in both directions at the intersection with Interstate 84 late Monday morning, Sept. 25, according to reports.  The closure was caused by a transformer fire in the area.
