A 19-year-old man faces charges after leading officers on an extensive chase through woods, streams, and neighborhoods in Northern Westchester following his theft of a car, police said.
The incident began on Friday, July 28 just before 11:30 a.m., when authorities identified a stolen Ford traveling in Lewisboro, according to Westchester County Police.

Man Nabbed After Taking Troopers On I-684 Chase, Crashing Vehicle in Northern Westchester
New York State Police nabbed a man for fleeing from police following an attempted traffic stop on I-684 in Northern Westchester.
Ady Casiano, 32, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 3, after troopers from the Somers barracks attempted to stop Casiano on I-684 in Lewisboro, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
Instead of stopping, Casiano fled southbound getting off onto the Saw Mill River Parkway. State Police patrols, however, terminated the pursuit due to the reckless operation of the suspect, Hicks said.

Woman Seriously Injured In Wrong-Way Saw Mill River Parkway Crash
A Fairfield County woman was seriously injured when a wrong-way driver collided with her car on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester.
The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, on the northbound Saw Mill just north of Marble Avenue, in Mount Pleasant, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
The wrong-way driver, identified as Anthony Rodriguez, 42 of Yonkers, traveled along Grant Street in Pleasantville and then turned left to proceed south on the Saw Mill, O'Leary said.

Chase To Close One Of Its Bank Branches In Westchester
Chase Bank has informed its customers that it has decided to close one of its banking and ATM branches in Westchester.
The location affected is at 10 Marble Ave. in Thornwood, and the closure is scheduled for later this year.
In a letter to customers, Kenneth Fitzpatrick, Chase's market director/banking, wrote, "Your relationship is important to us, so we invite you to visit our branch nearby" at Thornwood Rose Hill shopping center.
