Purse, Wallet, Credits Cards Stolen From Unlocked Vehicles In Fairfield County Police are reminding residents once again to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after three vehicles were burglarized in Fairfield County. The incidents took place on Thursday, March, 18 in New Canaan, said New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.  The first incident was reported around 9:06 a.m. on March 18, when police responded to a residence on White Oak Shade Lane on a report of two vehicles entered. Police Search For Suspect Who Smashed Car Window, Stole Items In New Canaan Police in New Canaan are seeking any information regarding a suspect driving a Mercedes Benz who broke the windows of a car and stole valuables from inside while it was parked in town. The New Canaan Police Department released surveillance photos on Wednesday of a suspect driving the Mercedes, which had Florida license plates. Police did not release what “valuables” were stolen. Police Investigate Potential Million-Dollar Burglary In Westchester Police are investigating a burglary from a Westchester jewelry store that reportedly may have seen suspects take off with upwards of a million dollars in merchandise, though that figure is unconfirmed. Investigators from the New Rochelle Police Department were active at New Rochelle Coin & Jewelry on Division Street on Friday morning, where there was an overnight burglary, with suspects stealing merchandise after accessing the building through the roof, police said.
