Investigators from the New Canaan Police Department were in Norwalk Court on Thursday to serve an active arrest warrant on Vanshawne Wheeler, who is currently incarcerated for unknown charges. Police said that Wheeler committed 11 larcenies from motor vehicles overnight on the Fourth of July last year. Hudson Valley Woman Charged With Stealing Clothes From Fairfield Merchant A Hudson Valley woman involved in a clothing theft scheme in Fairfield County turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest, according to Westport Police. In October, a woman stole more than $300 in clothing from a downtown merchant. A second woman later entered the store and returned the stolen items and received a gift card for the items’ value.
