Authorities responded to the Bear Mountain Bridge in the Hudson Valley after a person jumped off the structure early in the morning. The incident happened on Friday, Feb. 7 at around 3:45 a.m., when a person leaped from the bridge, according to New York State Police. A 45-year-old teacher from Amherst, NY (Erie County) has been arrested for sex crimes stemming from Virginia, authorities said. Geoffrey J. Part of Interstate 684 in Northern Westchester has cleared following a crash involving two jack-knifed tractor-trailers. The incident happened on Monday, Dec. 16 at around 6 a.m., when two tractor-trailers were involved in a crash on I-684 northbound in North Castle, according to New York State Police.
