Man, 35, Inside Closed New Canaan Library Faces Drug Charges A Norwalk man is facing drug charges after he accidentally found himself locked inside the New Canaan Library during the latest winter storm to strike the area. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched to the library shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, where there was a commercial burglar alarm activation at the location. An investigation into the incident led officers to Norwalk resident Luis Palomino, 32, who was attempting to exit the library after entering the library through an unlocked door when it had closed early due to the winter weather.
