Sol Krongelb, Developed Innovative Technology At IBM, Longtime Member of Yorktown Jewish Center
Sol Krongelb died on Monday, Nov. 11, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness.
Sol was born on Aug. 15, 1932 in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Benjamin and Anna Bloom Krongelb.
In 1953, Sol married his high school sweetheart, Gladys Anne Steinfeld. Sol and Gladys moved to Cambridge, MA, where they both pursued advanced degrees. In 1959, the couple built a home in Somers, and there they raised their three children. Sol and Gladys enjoyed many activities and interests together until Gladys’ passing in 2004.

John Ernest Finch died peacefully on Friday, May 3. He was 89 years old and most recently a resident of Arbor Ridge in Rhinebeck.
John lived his early life in Mt. Kisco and raised his family in Bedford Hills. He is survived by his devoted wife (Joan) of 62 years, his three children (Christine, Karen and Paul), his five grandchildren (Mark, Michael, Benjamin, Matthew and Anna), his sisters (Judy and Patricia) and brother (Robert). John was predeceased by his father (Ernest), mother (Katherine) and brothers (Edward and Joseph).

Theresa Fay Olesen, 104, Broadway Casting Director From Pound Ridge
Theresa Fay Olesen, a resident of Pound Ridge for more than 50 years, died on March 26. She recently celebrated her 104th birthday.
She was born in Troy, N.Y. on March 10, 1914, to James and Mary Tracey Fay.
Known as "Terry" to friends and family, she worked as a Broadway casting director for more than 40 years.
She is survived by her loving children Robert, Ellen Nixon and Tracey Haller. She will be missed dearly by her five grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Oscar and her siblings Alice Westerfield, Patricia Fay, Walter Fay and Ned Fay.
