Car, Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Fuel Leak, Snarls Route 6 Traffic A crash between a car and a tractor-trailer slowed traffic and caused a small fuel leak, but luckily no one was injured. The crash took place around 9 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Route 6 and Union Valley Road in Mahopac, according to EMS officials. Numerous departments responded to the crash, including Mahopac Fire, EMS and Fire Police along with multiple units from the Carmel Police. Several People Rescued After Car Crashes Near Reservoir In Carmel Multiple first responders were able to save several people from serious injury after a car crashed into an embankment near a reservoir in Carmel with the occupants still inside. The crash took place Friday afternoon on Washington Road, off of Route 6, according to officials. Carmel Police were first on the scene and found an occupied vehicle down the embankment.
