Teen Hits Owner With Rock While Burglarizing Area Business, Police Say
A teen is behind bars facing three felony charges after state police say he struck the owner in the head with a rock during an attempted robbery in Dutchess County. Troopers responded to South Road and Main Street in the town of Pleasant Valley for a fight in progress at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday, May 7. The fight broke out after 18-year-old Kyle G. Ostrom of Clinton had burglarized a local business, and the owners were attempting to detain him, according to state police.
