Distraught Man Stopped From Jumping Off Bridge In Mount Kisco A life was saved when police were able to talk a man down from jumping off a bridge in Northern Westchester.  In the early morning hours of Friday, Feb. 3, around 1:12 a.m., police responded to a residence in Mount Kisco on Maple Avenue after receiving a report from a caller that their roommate had fallen and injured his hand before becoming upset and leaving the apartment, according to the Westchester County Police Department. Man Critically Injured In Saw Mill Parkway Crash In Bedford A man from Fairfield County was critically injured when his car veered off the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester, struck two guide rails and went down an embankment. The accident occurred about 2 a.m., Friday, Feb. 7, on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Bedford at Harris Road, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
