Covid-19: 800 New Cases In Westchester Reported As State Total Hits 30.8K
There have been 5,146 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) reported in New York as the state’s total rose to 30,811, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at a news conference on Monday, March 25 in Albany.
New York’s 30,811 COVID-19 cases are nearly 10 times more cases than the nearest states - New Jersey, California, Washington and Michigan - have seen, though Cuomo said that the social distancing efforts may be slowly working. As a percentage, New York State COVID-19 cases account for 52 percent of the 58,998 in the United States. New York City's 17,856 cases are 30 percent of US cases.

Covid-19: Outbreak Could Peak In 45 Days, Cuomo Predicts
The novel coronavirus outbreak is going to get worse before it gets better, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is cautioning.
Globally, there have been 197,225 confirmed COVID-19 cases of coronavirus, including 5,921 in the United States that resulted in 100 deaths. (See first image above.)
