A man and woman were both extradited to New York after breaking into a home in Westchester and stealing property, police announced. Stefania Gonzalez-Munoz, age 35, and Nicolas Sanchez-Diaz, age 22, were both arrested in connection to a burglary that occurred in Harrison in December 2023, Harrison Police announced on Friday, March 22. Millions of dollars in grants can be withheld by President Donald Trump’s administration over “sanctuary laws,” a federal appeals court in New York ruled. A Hudson Valley man will spend a decade behind bars and is facing deportation after pleading guilty to raping a 10-year-old girl. Highland Mills resident Juan Linares, 20, who had pleaded guilty earlier this year to one felony count of first-degree rape, was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison and 10 years of post-release supervision for his role in sexually assaulting a minor who was known to him.
