Now, loved ones are mourning the loss of the Westchester County native, who died Friday, Sept. 2 at the age of 65, according to her obituary. Granata was born in New Rochelle on May 7, 1957 to parents Dr. Anthony and Teresa Granata, her memorial said. ID Released For Man Killed In Fiery Westchester One-Car Crash A New Rochelle man who died in a fiery car crash over the weekend has been identified. Robert Hopkins, 49, a passenger in a car that hit a utility pole and caught fire around 10 p.m. Saturday on Pinebrook Boulevard, died at the scene. Hopkins, who attended Archbishop Stepinac High School and Iona College, worked as a vice president and senior project executive for American Express and IBM.
