Woman Nabbed Attempting To Smuggle Drugs Into Fishkill Correctional Facility, Police Say A 48-year-old woman was nabbed trying to smuggle drugs into the Fishkill Correctional Facility, according to state police. Diana Guzman of the Bronx was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 3, for attempting to bring 18.3 grams of synthetic marijuana, and 85 sublingual suboxone strips into Fishkill Correctional Facility, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. Northern Westchester Man Caught With 'Improvised Weapon' While In Prison An inmate from Northern Westchester at the Fishkill Correctional Facility is facing a new felony charge after being caught by corrections officers with an alleged illegal weapon. A law enforcement investigation into an incident that took place on Dec. 15 last year found that Cortlandt resident Alexander Welch-Vanzile, 22, allegedly was in possession of an improvised weapon made from a sharpened piece of metal while he was incarcerated at the facility.
