New Canaan Police say they observed a motorist fail to stay in the proper lane when traveling on Smith Ridge Road on Saturday, May 18 around 9 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver, identified as Afina Etergino, 51, of New Canaan, was displaying signs of impairment, according to police.
