The $255 million project is expected to be completed by June 2019. The warehouse will create 1,800 jobs, and ultimately 3,000, First Selectman Michael Freda told The Connecticut Post.. The warehouse will span about 1.2 million square feet, roughly the same size as the former Pratt & Whitney facility that it succeeds.  Amazon would become the largest company to enter the region since Pratt and Whitney left in 2001.
