Nor'easter: Person Reported Missing In Westchester During Height Of Storm
The US Coast Guard, along with several police agencies, are searching for a missing kayaker from the area who failed to return from an outing as a strong Nor'easter moved into the area.
The search for Laurence Broderick, age 45, of Mamaroneck in Westchester County, began around 4 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, when the Village of Mamaroneck police received a call from his mother requesting a wellness check.

An out-of-state truck driver looking for directions in Westchester is in trouble with the law after being busted with an assault rifle, handgun and high-capacity magazines, police said.
Camron Sharod Burton, of Ocala, Florida, was arrested on Wednesday, April 10, when officers with the Eastchester Police Department were conducting a routine safety checkpoint on Labelle Road and spotted the weapons.

Two Indicted For Stealing More Than $500K Cash, Jewels In Westchester
Two men were arraigned this week on charges from two incidents including the theft of more than $500,000 in cash and jewelry in Westchester.
The burglary occurred at an Eastchester apartment in April, according to Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr.
Indicted by a Westchester County Grand Jury were Asan Sefuloski, 27, and Morris Santaniello, 54, both of the Bronx.
Both were charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and second-degree grand larceny, all Class C felonies.

Air Force Vet, Retired Eastchester Detective Timothy Morris Dies At 70
An Air Force veteran and longtime Eastchester detective has died in Westchester at the age of 70.
Bronxville native Timothy P. Morris died on June 11. He served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970 before joining the Eastchester Police Department on July 1, 1971, through his retirement as a detective on Oct. 8, 1992.
