Northern Westchester County resident Shirley Wishnie, age 70, of South Salem, a hamlet of Lewisboro, was charged around 11:30 a.m., on Thursday, July 27 after the incident in New Canaan. The New Canaan Police Department received a report of a hit-and-run crash at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7 near the intersection of Hoyt Street and East Avenue when a driver struck a parked car and sped away.
