Westchester County Detectives Help Find $300K Of Cocaine In Hidden Compartment Of Car
Several members of the Westchester County Police Department helped catch a man who had $300,000 worth of cocaine hidden in his car, police said.
On Monday, Nov. 28, around 6:30 p.m., members of the federal Drug Enforcement Agency's Group D-42, which includes detectives from the WCPD, conducted surveillance in Queens and observed the suspect enter his car with what appeared to be a weighed shopping bag, and then followed him as he drove to the West Farms neighborhood of the Bronx, according to an announcement by police on Friday, Dec. 16.

Two people are facing felony charges after a Hudson Valley traffic stop led to the discovery of about 250 bags of fentanyl and heroin, authorities reported.
Authorities saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Sawkill-Ruby Road in the Town of Ulster on Thursday, Sept. 8, according to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Melissa Neglia, of Saugerties, was found to be driving the vehicle with a revoked license, authorities said.

New York State Police troopers on patrol on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County busted two with nearly 150 grams of crack cocaine, authorities announced.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 for a vehicle and traffic violation on the parkway in Pleasant Valley, investigators announced on Monday, Jan. 31.
