Temporary Restraining Order Granted To Prevent Hotel From Housing Migrants In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley hotel will not be able to accept a busload of migrants and asylum seekers sent by New York City under a temporary restraining order granted late Tuesday, May 9. The request was granted by Rockland Supreme Court Judge Christine D'Alessio at the request of Orangetown officials, said Orangetown Supervisor Teresa Kenny during a press conference on Wednesday, May 10.  Under the order, the hotel's permits and certificate of occupancy do not permit the business to house migrants for up to four months.
