After a massive search, the mother of a toddler found walking alone near train tracks in the area was located, police said. A search was launched in Orange County at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, when a 3-year-old child was found wandering and crying at approximately 1 p.m. along railroad tracks on Maples Road in Wallkill, prompting an extensive search for her mother. 19-Year-Old Charged With Raping Child After Parents Alerted Police In Putnam
A 19-year-old is behind bars after state police arrested him for allegedly raping a child in Putnam County. After being alerted by parents, state police investigators determined Dulvin E. Andres Ovalle of Brewster raped the victim known to him who was under the age of 15 years old. Ovalle also sent indecent material to the cell phone of the victim, state police from the Brewster barracks said. A 43-year-old man is facing charges for his role in an alleged sexual abuse case in Mount Pleasant involving a minor. Last month, Albert Orjuela of Valhalla was arrested and charged with forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child following a complaint about alleged sexual contact with at least two minors. A camp director in Westchester is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager. William O’Neill, a resident of Jackson, New Jersey, was arrested this week for allegedly abusing his teenage victim, who is between the ages of 13 and 16, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced.
