Shrapnel From Exploded Utility Line Fuse Injures Man In Hudson Valley
An incident that police originally thought was a shooting turned out to be something else entirely when they found a Hudson Valley homeowner injured by shrapnel from an exploded utility line fuse. The incident happened in Putnam County on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 around 9:45 a.m., when Carmel Police officers and members of the Mahopac Falls Fire Department were sent to the area of Birch Road near Lake Secor for a report of utility wires that were down and burning, according to Lt.
